An Ode to Your Majesty
.
Fluffy paws of a happy fat cat
With a big round belly,
That shakes like a bowl of jello.

Oh, he doesn't eat the rats,
He is quite the gourmet.
He eats only warm, freshly baked bread,
Not all sausages are tasty,
And his tiny, millimeter-sized teeth
Have trouble eating large pieces of meat.

I think he would eat with a knife and fork
Caviar, sweet corn, smoked pork.

I suppose he was a king in his past life,
Cause how can you explain
Such royal manners?
It always seems to me, he holds a banner
“I'm the cat, and I know it”.
“So care about me, feed me,
Chop my food and clean up my poop,
Also, play with me
For the entertainment of Your Majesty.
If I lick and rub you,
Stand up and empty my throne!
I mean, chair.
Go, check my plate!
I've eaten it all.
And next time, when you cook,
Add variety to my food.”
